Redressal

The purpose of this policy is to outline the actions to be taken when a complaint or appeal is received from customers, certified organizations, or other parties regarding decisions related to the certification process. It also covers complaints related to the overall operations of IQCPL for which appeals are not applicable.

This policy does not apply to complaints related to alleged illegal, financial, or regulatory issues, as these will be handled by the appropriate authorities.

Complaints Procedure

All complaints related to the certification process are reviewed by IQCPL Operations. The designated team or employee handling the complaint will not include any staff members involved in the assessment that the complaint or appeal concerns.

If the individuals filing the complaint are not satisfied with the review and decision, they may file an appeal. In such cases, IQCPL will appoint an Appeal Board responsible for managing the appeal process and ensuring impartiality.

The Appeal Board consists of three members, with a majority being independent of IQCPL personnel.

Complaints can be submitted via email to complaints@iqcpl.in

Appeals Procedure

Where complainants disagree with the decisions of the certification complaint, they then may proceed to the appeal stage, explaining the reasons for disagreement.

Steps to be followed by the appellant:

  • The appeal should be submitted after receiving the certification complaint decision and no later than 30 days after receiving the complaint decision.
  • The appeal should be submitted via the email at complaints@iqcpl.in
  • The appeal, besides the personal information (full name, address and other contact details) of the appellant, should include the opinion about the assessment and why the appellant is not satisfied with the decision, and IQCPL review done after the complaint.

Appeals can be sent on appeals@iqcpl.in

Steps to be followed by IQCPL: IQCPL appoints an Appeal Board which is in charge of the appeal process and is accountable for safeguarding impartiality
